Hello from
Pine View Lakes
Fast and Furious
This has been quite an interesting maple season. This beautiful weather has brought the maple season to the end. We have been busy pulling taps and cleaning up all the supplies for the season. We were blessed with an abundance of sap, visits from new and old friends, help from family, and lots of delicious syrup. The season's harvest has left us with a small syrup to keep our customers in supply. We are very grateful for the positive feedback, shout outs, and volunteers that want to help this year and in future years.
Week One
Thank you to everyone who braved the cold to come and see us this weekend! It is definitely more fun when we have visitors. There is one more weekend. Come visit us March 8th & 9th between 10 AM & 5 PM.

Maple Madness Tour
We are looking forward to having you visit during the Maple Madness Tour this weekend. Please wear boot as the thaw plus all the rain we have been having is making for soft, wet, muddy walking paths.
Saps A Runnin'!

Hey family and friends.
This and next weekend is the Ohio Maple Madness Tour and Pine View Lakes is excited to be on the tour again this year. It sure is muddy with the thaw so it is a good idea to wear some boots when you come to visit! Hope to see you there 😄

We will once again be a part of the Ohio Maple Madness Tour March 1st, 2nd, 8th & 9th from 10:00 AM-5:00Pm each day.

Come and see how sap becomes syrup on our wood fired evaporator. While you are here enjoy tasting our syrup, learn how trees are tapped, and meet our hens. Enjoy some cocoa by the campfire after taking a walk around the pond or a hike back to our pine grove. You can hang out in the pavilion and play some games or color a page for the coloring contest. For purchase there will be maple baked goods & other maple based products, herbs & seasonings, craft items & Pine View Lakes swag, and of course syrup! We look forward to meeting you!

Have a blessed day!
Our Story
It all started with hay. We harvested hay on the property shortly after we were married in 1994 when it was owned by other family members. Through the years the ground lay fallow. We began clearing the property and cleaning out the woods by hand using axes and eventually a small 20" chainsaw. We hauled out the yard waste using a small cart attached to an small ride on mower. We harvested some large red oak trees and turned them into flooring for owners home which still remains in the front part of the family property. In 2005 we became the official owners of the back acerage which included the field we farmed almost 10 years earlier. We started with what we already knew - hay. After working and shaping the property for almost 15 years we moved to a small home. We continue to work and shape our homestead with a goal of self sufficiency. In 2022 it was time to turn our hobbies into a small agricultural business and thus, Pine View Lakes, LLC was born.
